How to Wine FAQ

1. Article Submissions

Authors and writers are invited to submit their articles to the How to Wine directory. Submissions are free and new additions to our database are indexed throughout the day, roughly every 5 hours.

2. Submission Guidelines

Before submitting an article, please search the How to Wine database by author name to see if your articles are already there. Please ensure that there are no spelling or grammer mistakes, and that your article conforms to the following guidelines:

Article Title: maximum 150 characters.

Article: maximum of 15,000 characters or roughly 2,500 words.

The above-noted character maximums are provided for guideline purposes only. Problems may be encountered in some cases where quotation marks, colons, etc. are included in one or more of the form fields. The script interpreting text characters like quotation marks will add invisible characters to the field.

3. Searching the How to Wine Directory

The search box at the top of any How to Wine page should be used for more wide ranging search results. Searches can be conducted by title, article content and author name.

The website is entirely dynamic, meaning that at any time you are searching the whole database - there is no time lag between an article being submitted and that article being accessable by site users.
